BY BIKE
There is a free bicycle parking garage under the Vooruit Terrace. We even have places for cargo bikes and other special bicycles. You can also borrow a cargo bike at Vooruit through Cambio. More info on cambio.be.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Vooruit is located in the city centre and is therefore easily accessible by public transportation. Take tram 1 at Gent Sint-Pieters train station and get off at Savaanstraat, in the city centre. Then walk through Bagattenstraat and you’ll find Vooruit at the top of the hill.
Or take bus 70 / 76 / 5 / 6 toward the city centre from Gent Dampoort train station to the Zuid stop. From there you can reach Vooruit on foot via Lammerstraat. Busses and trams ride every day until 1 a.m.
BY CAR
LEZ: Low-emission zone
Ghent’s inner city (the area within the ring road) will become a low-emission zone on 1 January 2020. Foreign number plates must be registered. Check whether your vehicle is allowed and/or register your vehicle to enter.
ATTENTION: Beware of certain commercial companies that offer you a service/sticker against payment. This service has no legal value and City of Ghent is not in any way involved.
Car park
The nearest car park (Zuid underground car park) is underneath Woodrow Wilsonplein and located outside of the LEZ. A bigger underground car park, open 24/7, is located under Sint-Pietersplein, but is located inside of the LEZ.
