How do I find the right hall?

1. Concertzaal

The Concertzaal (Concert Hall) is at the back of the Vooruit building and its entrance is on the River Scheldt. You can walk along the water to reach the Concertzaal, or alternatively you can enter via the alleyway (Parijsberg) on Lammerstraat.

2. Theaterzaal

The Theaterzaal (Theatre) is the hall with red velvet seats and the motto ‘Kunst veredelt’ (‘Art ennobles’) above the stage. You can reach the Theaterzaal via the main entrance on Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat. Walk through the main entrance and continue straight on through to the end of the corridor. You’ll see the entrance to the Theaterzaal on the right-hand side.

3. Café / Terrace

The Café is on the ground floor, right next to the main entrance. You can enter and exit via Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat. You can access the Terrace via the Café. You can also access the Terrace straight from Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat: right next to the bicycle parking garage there’s an outdoor staircase that leads to the terrace.

4. Balzaal

The Balzaal (Ballroom) is at the front of the Vooruit building on the third floor. Enter via the main entrance of Vooruit, turn right immediately (walk through the double doors) and follow the stairs. On the second floor, follow the two half-staircases (down, then up) to the Balzaal.

5. Domzaal

The Domzaal (Dome Room) is Vooruit’s highest room, right under the roof of the dome. It’s towards the front side of the building. Enter Vooruit via the main entrance, off Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat, and pass through the double doors to the right. Take the stairs to the top (third floor) and then take the third door on the right. At the end of the corridor, take the stairs again, right to the top. You have reached the Domzaal.

6. Minard

The Minard is a theatre down the road from Vooruit, on Walpoorstraat, next to the Marimain bar.
