Meet Golden Hours

Desertfest, Arts Centre Voo?uit and Trix celebrate their brand new collaboration with a mutual new production, premiering at both editions of Desertfest. Therefore, guitar hero Rodrigo Fuentealba (50 Foot Combo, La Gauche) presents new work, together with Ghent based video and electronic media artist Rien Coorevits. He will provide newly designed and adapted live visuals during both shows.

For Desertfest Rodrigo brings two different bands to the party. In Antwerp he will be accompanied by his instrumental protopunk band Manngold. In Ghent Fuentealba presents his new hypnotic kraut combo Golden Hours.

While touring with The Fuzztones, guitarist Rodrigo Fuentealba met Gang Of Four's drummer Tobias Humble. In the shuttle from the airport to the hotel they decided to get a band together. They got together in Berlin and were joined by Brian Jonestown Massacre's guitarist Hákon Aðalsteinsson, as well as Tricky and Joy Wellboy collaborator Wim Janssens. The combo went almost directly into the studio and recorded an album that drips with love for all things krautrock, psychedelic and hypnotic.

In Ghent Golden Hours will play their first live gig ever. Get your tickets here!
