An all night hip hop celebration!

Together with Democrazy and Voo?uit, All Eyes On Hip Hop organizes 15 Years Of All Eyes On Hip Hop, an all night celebration on Wednesday 10th of November 2021. We are excited to announce some of the most exciting hip hop artists out there. In addition to headliners Central Cee and Pa Salieu, the crême de la crême from Belgium Frenetik, L'Or du Commun, SPREEJ and Ramzi & Friends will decorate the birthday cake. The up-and-coming British Dreya Mac is also celebrating with us.

And of course: no All Eyes On Hip Hop without an afterparty! This evening will be expertly closed by the ladies of SupAfly Collective and our long time resident DJ Azer. Expect lots of bangers, a ride down memory lane and the latest classics-to-be - party vibes, quoi! DVTCH NORRIS will be your host.

The first real indoor hip hop party in a long time: FINA-GODDAMN-LY! And what's a birthday party without friends? We'll see you in De Vooruit!

ツ Central Cee ツ

Central Cee is proving himself to be one of London’s most exciting emerging artists. He built U.K.-wide buzz with the shimmying "Loading" in 2020, forging a dynamic drill-based sound with relentless flows and volatile street tales. This success followed him into early 2021: January's "Pinging (6 Figures)" offered a more traditional take on drill, while February's "Commitment Issues" secured Cee a number nine spot on the U.K. charts. His debut mixtape, Wild West, arrived this March. The tape expanded Cee's vivid drill sound with forward-thinking production and a wider range of narratives.

ツ  Pa Salieu  ツ

23-year-old rapper Pa Salieu recently won BBC Music's Sound of 2021 - identifying him as Britain's most exciting musical talent thanks to his adventurous, infectious tracks with hard-hitting lyrics. Since the release of the infectious rap anthem ‘Frontline,’ Pa Salieu has established himself as a leading light within Britain’s flourishing rap landscape. Armed with a distinct, melodic cadence that incorporates influences from his Gambian heritage, Salieu has forged his identity into a unique brand of rap that is quickly drawing attention and applause from wide quarters.

ツ Frenetik ツ

The hottest French-speaking hip hop act of the moment, straight outta the capital! Frenetik came full into the Belgian and French spotlights with a series of hard hitting songs and a strong COLORS live session. In the beginning of 2021 he dropped his debut album ‘Jeu de couleur’ on Epic Records. Frenetik has a sinister rap style he uses to talk about the Brussels he knew as a child. Will Frenetik be the new Damso? Damn sure!

ツ L’Or du Commun ツ

Loxly, Primero and Swing, aka L'Or du Commun, have been longtime part of the better Brussels hip hop scene. In 2019 they dropped debut ‘SAPIENS’, followed up in May 2021 by ‘Avant la nuit’. The last time they conquered the stage of De Vooruit, was in support of MF Doom (RIP) in 2014. Setting De Vooruit once again ablaze is their next goal.

ツ Dreya Mac ツ

West London native Dreya Mac, who as a dancer saw the world with Stormzy, Dua Lipa and Rita Ora, caused a stir with her debut single ‘Skippin’ and her superb COLORS live session for ‘Time’. Her name resonated in the British hip hop scene and she received full support from tastemakers such as BBC Radio celebrity Annie Mac. Her reputation also set foot on the European mainland. Mac’s first EP is coming up, and so is her first Belgian concert.

ツ SPREEJ ツ

In 2020, our very own SPREEJ showed up again in the Ghent scene. After years of radio silence, he released ‘LOSTBOYDEMIGOD’, a trip down memory lane, rougher and more real than anything we've ever heard from him. Two impressive EPs soon followed, one in collaboration with legend LeFtO. Raw, grainy and leaving nothing in the open: the days when SPREEJ made concessions to his sound are far behind him. He comes back to claim his throne, confidently following the path he has taken.

ツ Ramzi & Friends ツ

Ramzi is no stranger to the Antwerp rapscene for a while, but in the beginning of 2021, he put himself on the map throughout Flandres with the single ‘Onbeschrijfelijk”’, released on Top Notch and featuring Zwangere Guy and Freddie Konings. Ramzi doesn't just come to De Vooruit on his own, he brings a whole bunch of friends. We suggest you do the same.
