An audio tour though the history of the Vooruit cooperative

Fancy an artistic audio tour through one of Ghent’s most famous monuments during International Heritage Day? Welcome to Kunst Veredelt (‘Art Ennobles’), an audio tour by Katinka de Jonge, Adrienne van der Werf, Leonore Spee and Sascha Bornkamp.

Kunst Veredelt offers a peek behind the scenes of the De Vooruit monument’s history. Scan the QR codes along the way, travelling from space to space as a privileged eavesdropper on conversations between historical figures and contemporary activists, young musicians and feminist historians, professors and café regulars.

This completely corona-proof audio tour brings to life both the moveable and immovable heritage of this monument, diving into the often-overlooked history and legacy of the Vooruit Festivity Hall. Book your free ticket early, because places are limited ;-)
