Unique one-on-one experience in which you become the performer

With ‘Mikado’, Finnish artist Hans Rosenström has designed a sound installation based on a scene from Ingmar Bergman’s film classic ‘Cries and Whispers’ (1972). You’ll step into another world for a number of minutes and become the performer in a unique and interactive one-on-one experience. Become part of the story and walk away with intriguing new insights.

In his work, Rosenström focuses on minute details. By enlarging them he gives them new meanings and confronts us with our inattentive view of everyday life. He makes art by which he hopes to make visitors question their own feelings and perceptions.

It’s possible to slip seamlessly between the different installations in the Gundega programme. In the sewing room in the attic of the Domzaal, you’ll find Kate Krolle’s performance ‘At the shore of running waters’. In the Domzaal itself, Voldemārs Johansons’ sound installation ‘Thirst’ will bring you right into the heart of a stormy sea.
