A cycle of influences and impulses between the two

‘L’Âge d’or’ is a two-sided creation, combining film with performance. This choreographic experiment is a meeting between children with motor disorders and professional dancers.

Visitors first get to see a short film in which the children are equipped with virtual-reality glasses allowing them to see in real time what the dancers are seeing. Afterwards there is a performance consisting of a choreographic improvisational session. Without the filters and editing techniques of film, the dancers perform a duet with the children. Every movement is based on the contact between the child and the performer, creating a cycle of influences and impulses between the two.
