RAKETKANON (Dutch for Rocketcannon) come in hard, shock, entertain, repulse and attract.

The band released their debut album RKTKN#1 late 2012, gaining them nationwide fame for their insane live shows. In July 2014, RAKETKANON went camping in Chicago’s infamous Electrical Audio Studio to record their 2nd studio album with Steve Albini (Nirvana, The Pixies, Neurosis, The Jesus Lizard, …). RKTKN#2 was released 2015 and followed by extensive touring in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Poland, Czech Republic, Holland and Belgium.

With their first album RAKETKANON discovered what they sounded like and with #2 they refined this. With #3 Raketkanon searched (and found) how far they could take it.

Tropical Fuck Storm (support act)

Tropical Fuck Storm is Gareth Liddiard and Fiona Kitschin of The Drones joining forces with Lauren Hammel and Erica Dunn to make some extraordinarily abrasive yet undeniably catchy candy-coated psychedelic Aussie sludge punk on their debut album A Laughing Death In Meatspace. In an age of underlying dread, too few albums have really nailed that queasy feeling of anxiety that permeates life on Earth right now. The bizarre tunings and chords, the wailing backing harmonies that sound like a coven chanting hellish incantations, the filthy percussion, the other-worldly synth sections - A Laughing Death In Meatspace feels like humanity cannibalising itself. It's remarkably perfect in its madness.
